PS3 Firmware 2.53 available now

Sony's released Firmware 2.53 for PS3: we're downloading as we type.
The update caused a bit of a kerfuffle last week with what appears to have been an erroneous post from SCEA and some good old gun-jumping from the internet, but it's there now. So relax.
The software gives full-screen Flash support to your machine, and "Live movie (using RTMP format) playability," according to this US PS Blog post.
