PlayStation Vita updates to Firmware 1.60 on Wednesday
Sony's will release on Wednesday Firmware 1.60 for PlayStation Vita in Japan, the first significant update to the handheld since its launch in Japan last December.
The new Firmware will introduce a map app, enabling users to use it via satellite imagery and directions whenever you're walking or driving.
The camera app has also been given a small addition in the form of being able to film videos.
Sony will also finally enable support for Mac with Vita, having previously only supported Windows. It'll release a OSX version of Content Management Assistant for PlayStation, meaning you'll be able to transfer content between Macs and Vita.
The new Firmware will also reflect the name change of Sony Network Entertainment on your account than a PlayStation Network account.
Vita launches in the west on February 22.
Thanks, Andriasang.
