Project Eternity - digital tiers, DRM, and add-ons noted in update
Project Eternity's Kickstarter has been updated now that the stretch goal of $1.6 million has been met. This means a Mac version is in the cards.
According to Obsidian, the game will also be DRM-free due to its launch on GoG.com for Kickstarter Backers. When the fundraising ends, those do donated can choose between a key from GOG or Steam. A DRM free option is still being looked into for the Mac version, since GOG doesn't currently support the system.
New Digital Tiers at $50 and an $80 have been announced as well. The $50 tier will get you the digital version of the game, soundtrack, the digital Collector’s Book, wallpapers, high resolution concept art, a high resolution version of the map, and ringtones.
The $80 tier includes the $50 rewards plus a digital copy of the strategy guide, and a second digital download of the game.
Add-Ons were announced, and while more are on the way, a digital download of the Game will run $25 and three digital downloads of the game will run $60. To incorporate the add-ons, just head on over to Kickstarter and hit the Manage Your Pledge button.
Beta access was added to the Collector's Edition Box at level $140 and more tiers will be added "in the coming days and weeks through stretch goals and the occasional random act."
With 27 days to go, Project Eternity has garnered $1,655,679 in pledges from 40,955 backers.
