Project Cars 2 is coming this fall
Project Cars 2 will be hitting store shelves around September.
Project Cars 2 developer Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed recently that the sequel is on track to launch later this year, around September.
"Septemberish" was the word CEO Ian Bell used on the official forums (via Gamespot) when asked how far along the game was.
"It's still a very tight run as we're a bit behind on GUI and Career so nothing is set in stone yet. Current guess is Septemberish," noted the CEO.
In an earlier post, Bell said that "none of the famous brands" will be missing from the game, adding that quality assurance work has already begun.
Project Cars 2 was announced back in 2015 as a PC, PS4, and Xbox One title. Not many details are known at this point, but Slightly Mad promised to include even more racing disciplines, particularly off-road sports.
The game's career mode is being developed with co-op in mind, another big feature. The developer has not yet released gameplay footage, though this will likely change in the coming months.
