Professor Layton social spin-off heading to iOS & Android

Professor Layton and the Century of the Seven Phantom Thieves is heading to Android and iOS, Famitsu reports. It follows Layton as he explores London in search of thieves, and is not to be confused with previously unveiled spin-off Layton Brothers: Mystery Room. More details below.

This week's edition of Famitsu revealed that Professor Layton and the Century of the Seven Phantom Thieves features both Layton and Luke, and will come with social features that see players exchanging information in order to catch the thieves in question.

There will also be unlockable avatar costumes and items. Famitsu reports that he game will be free and supported via in-app purchases. No release date has been given.
