Prey Psychoscope and Suit Chipsets - What are Chipsets and How to Find Them
A complete list of every chipset available in Prey for your suit and your Psychoscope.
Different Prey Chipsets can be found all throughout Talos 1, and each Chipset can provide a different bonus for Morgan Yu. These can range from the ability to identify disguised Mimics in the environment using the Prey Psychoscope, to acquiring more ammunition for certain weapons from enemy corpses.

However, Morgan only has a set number of slots to fill with Chipsets, and although more slots can be unlocked through the Suit Modification ability, you’ll still have to prioritise which ones you think are more valuable than others. On top of this, Chipsets are randomised, meaning that no one Chipset will be in the same location for two players. Therefore, although we can detail all the Chipsets available in Prey, we can’t provide you with the locations for all of them.
Prey Suit Chipsets
Aside from sustaining damage from every enemy attack, Morgan’s suit in Prey plays a key role, able to keep out radiation damage as well as equipping Suit Chipsets.

Prey Psychoscope Chipsets
Obtained in the first few hours of Prey, the Chipsets for the Psychoscope unlock much different abilities than the Suit Chipsets, allowing Morgan to identity hidden enemies like Mimics in the environment.
