Prey developer Human Head reveals new game prototype
Human Head, the studio behind Prey, is working on a new multiplayer game as part of Shinra's Prototype Accelerator Program that just been announced along with Hardsuit Labs and Camoflaj's new projects.
Shinra Technologies Prototype Accelerator Program offers cloud-based development solutions to encourage devs to realise their vision in the cloud, with no hardware restrictions.
While Shinra finances the prototypes, what the devs do with them next is their call. As Shinra Technologies is a part of Square Enix, it is possible that we'll see them picked up by the publisher.
Human Head signed up to the program back in May, joining République and Blacklight developers, Camoflaj and Hardsuit Labs, and now we have some details on the prototypes these three have been working on.
Human Head is developing a "naval combat-focused multiplayer game" where the player will take on pirates and sea monsters. The game is said to have realistic water physics.
Hardsuit Labs are making a procedurally generated "evolution simulator", while Camoflaj is working on a "stealth-based assassination game".
