POSTAL Redux hits Steam this spring, PS4 later this year as HD remake
It's happening. What you ask? An HD remake of the Running With Scissors twin-stick shooter POSTAL.
Dubbed POSTAL Redux, the game will include new content in the form of Rampage Mode. It's a single-player mode based around a scoring system which encourages aggressive play .
For each consecutive kill in a killstreak, the multiplier will increase. Players will then be graded on completion of each level.
POSTAL Redux will maintain the original's "grim art style, frightening ambience," and the "omnipresent demonic voice."
"Even with all the noise surrounding POSTAL, gamers focused on the experience, playing the game by the millions, giving it great user reviews and helping us not only survive, but flourish," said Running With Scissors founder Vince Desi in the press release.
"POSTAL Redux is a love letter to our fans."
The HD remake will arrive on Steam for Windows, SteamOS and Mac in the spring. POSTAL Redux will also arrive on later in the year, which will be the franchise's console debut.
