Pokémon X & Y - Aurorus' moves detailed, Pokémon will gain XP

Pokémon X & Y is going to have more Pokémon that you can shake a Poké Ball at, and today, another contender has been revealed as being included in the games. Plus, there's also the news that Pokémon will earn experience points this time out.

The tundra Pokémon Aurorus who is a rock/ice type and the evolution of Amura, has been included in X & Y. He is rather adorable and looks a bit like a Brachiosaurus only with what looks like a neck frill.

The critter can spew air that gets really cold in order to damage enemies, or create an ice wall as a form of protection. A new move in Pokémon X & Y is Freeze-Dry which works against water types and it can freeze opponents.

The Pokémon in X & Y will also gain experience points after trainers have captured another Pokémon. In previous games, they would not earn XP. This information was posted by Nintendo World Report, after having hands on time with the game earlier this week.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y launch worldwide on October 12, exclusively for 3DS.
