Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Legendary Pokemon Guide - Where to find Legendary Pokemon

While Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon are largely reimaginings of the original Sun and Moon games, there are some notable differences scattered throughout Alola. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon New Legendary Pokemon Guide

#803 Poipole (aka UB Adhesive)

Poipole is the first of the new pokemon that you’ll discover on your journey through Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, as it’s used by the new Ultra Recon Team. It’s an interesting new pokémon that is said to be equivalent to a starter pokémon in the world we’re more familiar with.

Poipole will be gifted to you by the Ultra Recon Squad after you enter Ultra Megalopolis, their home. It’s a pure poison type with modest stats and the typical Beast Boost ability, but its most distinguishing feature is that it can evolve.

#804 Naganadel

Naganadel is the evolved form on Poipole. To evolve, Poipole must level up while knowing the move Dragon Pulse. It doesn’t learn this move by level up, so if your Poipole doesn’t know the move, be sure to have a Heart Scale at hand and pay a visit to the move reminder in the Pokémon Centre on Mount Lanakila.

Evolving into Naganadel changes its typing to Poison/Dragon, which was previously unique to the Gen 6 pokémon, Dragalge. Naganadel has impressive speed and special attack stats, and with the Beast Boost ability on top of this it can become quite the terrifying special sweeper.

#805 Stakataka (aka UB Assembly)

Like the ultra beasts that came before it, there are only a few Stakataka in the game to catch. At the end of the game, the Ultra Recon Squad will ask for you to catch Stakataka, which is roaming Poni Grove. However, it is exclusive to Ultra Moon.

Stakataka is a Steel/Rock type with a humongous defense stat, and a decent attack stat to go with it. It also has an abysmal speed stat, which means you’ll have to watch out for special attacks landing before Stakataka gets a turn.

#806 Blacephalon (aka UB Burst)

Blacephalon is to Ultra Sun what Stakataka is to Ultra Moon, so if you prefer one over the other you may wish to use that to decide which game to buy. Blacephalon is also caught at the end of the game at Poni Grove.

It’s not the first Ghost/Fire pokémon, but it is certainly the scariest. Blacephalon boasts good attack, special attack and speed stats, making it a terrifying glass cannon. It’s not going to survive many hits, but hopefully you’ll make quick work of your opponent before they get a chance to move.

#807 Zeraora

Zeraora is a new mythical pokémon for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, like Magearna and Marshadow that came earlier in the generation. It also means that it’s current unobtainable, and will be released later on as part of a promotion. This is likely to be in a year or so when a new Pokémon film comes out, but you’ll have to stay tuned for the details.
