Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon out today alongside first Global Mission, Poke Bank coming in "late" November"

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon releases today, and you can watch the launch trailer and find out more on the first Global Mission below.

The latest games in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon, are out now for 3DS and those who have a copy can look forward to Poke Bank compatibility later this month along with plenty of upcoming Global Missions.

If you're interested in what critics think of the games, you can look over our Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon reviews round up.  Alex has also provided his thoughts on Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon, which you should give a read if you plan on picking up one of the expanded versions.

Along with the release trailer, The Pokemon Company has launched the first Global Mission for the Ultra versions of Sun and Moon.

The Global Mission sounds rather easy. Players will need to catch 10,000,000 Pokemon by November 28. Should the ghoal be attained, 2,000 Festival Coins will be awarded to players. If the goal is not met, players will be handed 1,000 Festival Coins as a consolation prize. Rewards are doubled for players with a Global Link Account.
