Pokémon Sun and Moon gives classic pokémon an Alola makeover

Your favourite Pokémon get a new look and new abilities in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Watch on YouTube

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon introduces a new region and a bunch of new features, including three new starters - Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio.

And it turns out there's even more stuff being shaken up, with the Alola forms of classic pokémon, and brand new, super fancy looking pokémon.

There's Oricorio who has a different form depending on which island you find it on, rock-type Minior who can have four different coloured cores, and a ton more.

The video also introduces the trial captains on each island who specialise in a specific type of pokémon similar to gym leaders.

Z-moves are another new feature that can be used once per battle. Each type has its own Z-move. Essentially a Z-move is the combined power of a pokémon and its trainer.

It all looks equally interesting and adorable, and I'm now officially on the bandwagon.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are due for release on November 18 for the 3DS.
