Pokémon Rumble U announced for August release in US, Europe
Pokémon Rumble U will be released on the eShop for Wii U in the US and Europe, Nintendo has announced.
Announced earlier this year, the toys-to-life title features all 649 Pokémon discovered as far as Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2, and allows the player to play solo, or through up to four players, as they help the Pokés return to the Toy Shop from which they came.
There will be a variety of locations in-game such as the Sparkly Playland, Mysterious Forest, and Blue Sky Park.
In Pokémon Rumble U the more Pokémon you defeat "the more Pokémon you can befriend," and each has different strengths and weaknesses, so strategies can be "developed to exploit these factors in battle," such as when going up against Giant Bosses.
The Wii U GamePad can be used to set off Touch Bombs when faced with loads of Pokémon on the battlefield at once.
Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures, based on the Toy Pokémon featured in the game, will be available to link up with Pokémon Rumble U via the Wii U GamePad.
Eachwill be sild exclusively at participating GameStop retail stores in the US and the NFC Figure can save in-game data so you can take it wherever you go.
A random assortment of eighteen Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures, including Pikachu, Victini, Deoxys (Normal Forme), Eevee, and Genesect, will be available at GameStop for a suggested retail price of $3.99 each.
Pokémon Rumble U NFC Figures are optional and are sold separately.
It's out August 15 on Wii U in Europe and on August 29 in the US.
