Pokemon Origins retells the story of Pokemon Red and Blue, is stupidly nostalgic

Pokemon Origins is a four-episode animated mini series that retells the story of the very first Pokemon games, Red and Blue. A new trailer has just appeared, and its opening may explode you with nostalgia.

The episodes will debut in North America on November 15. They'll be streamed on Pokemon TV and available through the Pokemon TV apps for iOS and Android.

The story focuses on Red, the trainer from the first Pokemon games, as he sets out into the Kanto region to capture and train Pokemon, defeat resident gym leaders, fight against the evil Team Rocket, and eventually reach the venerable Pokemon League. But you already knew that, because you've done it all for yourself.
