The Best Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee
Firstly, we should probably state that there isn’t one “best” Pokemon in either Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee. Since the game has a rock, paper, scissors method of Pokemon types, it’s always possible for the best Fire-type Pokemon to be taken out with a single powerful Water-type attack, and so on.
However in the rest of this guide, we’ll be detailing the few best creatures in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee by type. We’ll be listing the best Electric, Water, Ghost-type Pokemon and more.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Electric Pokemon
- Zapdos - One of the few legendary creatures found in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, Zapdos can be found by venturing into the heart of the Power Plant.
- Pikachu - That’s right, the starter creature of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu is one of the best overall Electric-type Pokemon in the entire game, especially when you can teach it moves like Thunder and Zippy Zap.
- Jolteon - In order to obtain Jolteon, you’re firstly going to need to acquire an Eevee, which could well be your starter creature in Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee, and then evolve it into a Jolteon using a Thunder Evolution Stone.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Water Pokemon
- Blastoise - It’s not easy to obtain a Blastoise, as you’re firstly going to have to get hold of a Squirtle, and then evolve it into a Wartortle, and then a Blastoise once it hits level 32.
- Lapras - This Pokemon is used by the Elite Four’s Lorelei, and is incredibly difficult to come across, unless you happen to have one in Pokemon Go.
- Gyarados - While you might not think it, the humble Magikarp can evolve into Gyarados at level 20.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Fire Pokemon
- Charizard - You’re going to need to track down a Charmander in Pokemon Let’s Go (or trade one over from Pokemon Go), and then get about levelling it up to level 32, when it’ll transform into a Charizard.
- Moltres - Standing beside Zapdos and Articuno as one of the few legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, you’re going to need to make it to Victory Road in order to get Moltres.
- Rapidash - The evolution of Ponyta, Rapidash has a solid array of both quick and powerful Fire-type moves, the strongest of which is Fire Blitz.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Fighting Pokemon
- Machamp - One of the toughest Pokemon in all of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, you’ll have to trade your Machoke to a friend and back if you want it to evolve into a Machamp.
- Hitmontap - Although Hitmontap might not seem it, it’s actually one of the more powerful Fighting-type Pokemon in all of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, especially if you can advance it beyond level 40.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Psychic Pokemon
- Mewtwo - Now this is one tough creature to track down. You’re firstly going to need to beat the Elite Four to get to Mewtwo, and then bring your toughest Pokemon for the fight against it.
- Alakazam - While getting hold an Abra and evolving it into an Kadabra is fairly easy through levelling up, you’ll need to trade your Kadabra to a friend and back to get it to evolve into the powerful Alakazam.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Dragon Pokemon
- Dragonite - There really aren’t that many Dragon-type Pokemon found within Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, but Dragonite is definitely one of the more powerful overall creatures in the entire game, although it’s incredibly rare to find.
Pokemon Let's Go Best Rock Pokemon
- Golem - While a Geodude can naturally evolve into a Graveler, you’ll then have to trade your Graveler away to a friend to get it to evolve into a Golem, before getting it back off your friend.
- Onix - You can find Onix in basically any of the caves scattered around the map of Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, and it's only powerful Rock-type Pokemon to have on your bag.
- Rhydon - Evolving from Rhyhorn at level 42, Rhydon is definitely one of the more supreme Rock-type Pokemon in the entire game.
Pokemon Let’s Go Best Grass Pokemon
- Venusaur - Bulbasaur is pretty easy to miss near the start of Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, but it’s well worth uncovering, as it can evolve into an Ivysaur, and then the supreme Venusaur.
- Victreebell - Unfortunately Bellsprout, the base Pokemon that eventually evolves into Victreebell, can only be caught in Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee (unless you can transfer one over from Pokemon Go).
- Vileplume - Starting out with Oddish which evolves into Gloom, you’re then going to have to use a Leaf Evolution Stone in order to transform Gloom into the powerful Vileplume.
