Legendary Pokemon Latias and Latios are appearing in Pokemon GO Raid Battles

Two Legendary Pokemon originally from the Hoenn region are appearing in Pokemon GO Raid Battles for the first time.

Pokemon GO players should be on the lookout for Latias and Latios at a Gym near them.

The Dragon and Psychic-type Pokemon Latias and Latios started appearing in different areas around the world for a limited time starting yesterday, April 2.

These Eon Pokemon are "highly intelligent," and can communicate telepathically with humans. Both are very fast when flying and rather stealthy, so they will be rather formidable.

The Legendary Pokémon Latias will appear in Raid Battles across Europe and Asia, while Latios will appear in North America, South America, and Africa.

On May 8, these Pokemon will switch locations and will be available until June 5, when both Pokemon fly off into the sunset.

Pokemon GO players wanting an edge against these two should choose Pokemon which are strong against Psychic and Dragon types. These include Dark/Rock-type Tyranitar and Steel/Fairy-type Mawile which will also be appearing in Raid Battles.
