Pokemon Go update adds major quality of life change

Pokemon Go's latest update has made it much easier to examine IVs.

Update v0.149.0 for Pokemon Go, which is currently available on Android, comes with a major change in how the game displays Individual Values (IVs) for the different Pokemon.

This appraisal system allows players to compare Pokemon and find out which of them are better/worse at different attributes. The only problem is, the verbiage used in the old system wasn't standard or clear. This, coupled with the RNG nature of the attributes themselves, confused many players and made the process harder than it should be.

No more, however, as the new system (spotted by The Silph Road) has a much clearer layout. As you can see in the screenshot below, there's now a clear indication when a Pokemon's attribute is at 100%, and the attributes themselves are easy to understand.

The Silph Road also notes that you're able to flip between the different Pokemon easily when you want to compare.

If the update is available on Android, this usually means it'll soon be out on iOS across the game's various regions.
