Pokemon Go Fest 2020 players spent $17.5 million during the event

Pokemon Go players spent lots of money during the game's Pokemon Go fest 2020 last weekend.
According to Sensor Tower estimates, during Pokemon Go Fest 2020, players spent $8.9 million on July 25 and $8.6 million on July 25 (thanks, GI.biz).
The $8.9 million spent on Saturday, July 25 was the most spent on a single day since July 29, 2016, when players spent $13.3 million.
The boost during this time can be attributed to ticket prices. In order to participate in Pokemon G0 Fest 2020, you would have needed need to purchase a $14.99 ticket.
Pokemon Go has earned $539 million this year, bringing its lifetime total to almost t $3.7 billion.
