Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby's new mega evolutions are on show in this new trailer, which also reveals a special bonus for early adopters.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby players who pick the RPG up at or soon after launch will be able to take advantage of a limited-time Internet distribution event rewarding them with a Shiny Beldum.

This otherwise extremely rare Pokemon comes with a Mega Stone, so you can evolve through Metang and Metagross before using it to create a Shiny Mega Metagross. Which owns.

The trailer also gives a look at some new mega evolutions and Pikachu costumes (but we got word of that from Japan before the trailer turned up) as well as horde encounters and other known details.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby both launch on 3DS in November. I don't know how I feel about everyone who grabs it having access to a Shiny; surely collecting these rarest beasties is the mark of a true Pokemaster?
