PlayStation 4 and PS Vita launch in China in January, prices confirmed
Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 and PS Vita will officially launch on January 11 in China.

Leaked prices from earlier in the month appear to have been correct. Th PS4 will be priced CNY 2,999 ($487), while the PS Vita will be priced CNY 1,299 ($210).
The PS4 package comes with the standard 500GB hard-drive and one controller. The Vita will come with 1GB of internal memory.
A number of third party publishers and developers have signed up to develope games for the region. The few confirmed Chinese games are King of Wushu (Suzhou Snail Digital), Mr Pumpkin Adventure (Shanghai Youju) and One Tap Hero (Shanghai Kena). Some Western developers have also signed up, including EA, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, Disney, Bethesda, Codemasters, CD Projeckt, Focus, Halfbrick and Nordic Games.
Sony, along with Median.com and Shanghai Oriental Pearl SUOLE Culture Development Ltd, will be supporting Chinese game developers throughout the production process.
