Players won't be forced to interact with musical numbers in Epic Mickey 2
Warren Spector has clarified how Epic Mickey 2's musical numbers will work while reassuring those loathe to the thought, they won't be forced to participate in any musical numbers in the game.
"I just want to see how people respond to the music and the songs," Spector told Eurogamer.
"They're not interactive by design. Later on, I hope maybe we get to do that in some other game, sometime in the future. But I feel like I have to reassure that 30% that it's okay. If you don't want to experience that part of the game you can just bypass it."
The game contains musical numbers created by composer Jim Dooley and lyricist Mike Himelstein and character will break into song " on a regular basis" in the game.
Junction Point announced Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two on March 21 for Mac, PC, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 and a 3DS version, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, is in the works at Dreamrift.
Both games are slated for a fall release.
