Plastic Surgery kid's games pulled from App Store, Google Play
A couple of games inviting kids to perform plastic surgery on an "ugly" and "unfortunate" woman have been thrown off the App Store and Google Play. The BBC reports there were several versions of the same game under different titles, some aimed at kids aged nine and above and others for those 12 and above. The free apps were were "sexist and disturbing", according to British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons president Nigel Mercer. One of the games slyly included the word "Barbie" in its title and got a full serve of wrath from Mattel, too.
Thanks, Joystiq.
