We haven't heard anything about a new Digital Collector's Edition as of yet, but we'll keep our eyes peeled.

It is slated for release at the end of 2016 which coincides with the physical release window announced earlier today. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are already up for pre-order on the US end of Amazon.

It's also listed on the North American Square Enix Store alongside the standard edition.

Here's what's included for $139.99, courtesy of Gematsu:

  • Hitman Game and Collector’s Box
  • Agent 47 10" Chessmaster Statue
  • Wearable Tie & Clip Set
  • Hardcover art book with 60 pages
  • Digital Game Download

IO Interactive announced today the standard physical edition would be released at the end of 2016 for $60, which is the same price as the full digital game.

Hitman will be released episodically starting on March 11 with the Prologue Mission and a Paris location. In April, the next offering will be released in April and contains the Italy location, and players will visit Morocco in May.

From June onward, monthly content updates including the locations Thailand, the US and Japan will be released throughout the year. The 2016 season of Hitman will conclude with the Japan location later in the year.

As previously reported, the Intro Pack will contain the Prologue Mission and Paris level for $15 or the regional equivalent. Each subsequent location will be priced at $10 as an add-on item to the Intro Pack. Those who purchase the Intro Pack can upgrade to the full experience via the $50 Upgrade Pack.
