Persona 5 Guide - How to Get a Job and Earn Money
Gaining and keeping a steady amount of funds is critical to the success of the characters in Persona 5.
Getting a job should be one of your foremost priorities in Persona 5, as any job can offer a variety of monetary and statistical bonuses to you. Different jobs can also be undertaken at different times, meaning they can fit around your busy social schedule. In this Persona 5 Jobs Guide we'll explain what jobs there are and which you should get.
But if you need help with anything else Persona 5 related, then head over to our guides hub on the game, where you can find help on Confidant Social Links, as well an explanation of Mementos.
Persona 5 Jobs Guide
Some of these jobs will also increase your stats, making jobs an even more worthwhile use of your limited time in Persona 5. You'll be able to get a job early on in the game by going into Shibuya Station and picking up a magazine, and from here it might be a good idea to sign up for every job possible, as you can undertake them whenever you want, with no real commitment involved.
Persona 5 Convenience Store Job
Getting a job at the convenience store doesn't give you much in the way of pay or stat building, as the job is available during the day and pays 2,800 Yen per night. The only real benefit of getting a job at the convenience store is that you'll be able to unlock a Mementos request after working there a few times.
Persona 5 Flower Shop Job
Once you've obtained Rank 2 in Charm, you'll be able to work at the Flower Shop, which is a great way to raise your Kindness. You can earn 3,000 Yen per night, and will be able to undertake a Mementos request after working there merely a few times. The main benefit of the Flower shop is its flexibility with being able to work day or night, in addition to occasionally rewarding the player with unlockable bonuses. As previously mentioned, working at the Flower Shop is a great way to raise your Kindness, which is particularly useful if you find yourself at a roadblock with any Social Links.
Persona 5 Beef Bowl Shop Job
The Beef Bowl Shop is not only good for its relatively high pay at 3,600 Yen per night, but because it also gives you access to a Social Link. After working there only a few times you'll be able to meet Yoshida from the Sun Social Link, and initiate that after he notices you working there. However, with all of the aforementioned benefits that working at the Beef Bowl has, you will only be able to undertake this job once you have unlocked the ability to venture out at night.
Persona 5 Crossroads Bar Job
This is a little tricky, as you will only be able to land work at the Crossroads Bar after attaining a Rank 3 in Proficiency and unlocking the Social Link with Ohya in Shinjuku. You'll be able to earn 5400 Yen Per Night here, and your stat bonuses will raise depending on the type of customer you serve. This is the recommended job to have as soon as you unlock it, purely because of how much it pays in addition to the flexibility it offers with stat bonuses.
