Persona 5 Big Bang Burger Guide - How to Increase Guts
Persona 5 throws plenty of activities at the player in the opening hours, but the Big Bang Burger Challenge offers a whole host of potential stat boosts at very little cost.
Situated in the Central Streets of Shibuya, the Big Bang Burger is one of the best places to go in Persona 5 should you wish to increase your Guts rank through the various challenges the restaurant offers. It's also a great place to purchase items for your group to use during expeditions into Dungeons. This Persona 5 Big Bang Burger guide will help you increase your Guts.

Persona 5 Big Bang Burger Challenge
Guts may only be one factor among many in Persona 5, but it's still a vital part of the game. It allows you to participate in activities such as Takemi's medical trials, which will subsequently lead to the ability to purchase better healing items from the Clinic.
To start off, make a trip to the Big Bang Burger restaurant any time during the 'after school' period of the day (it's situated roughly halfway up the Central Street region in Shibuya), and attempt to take on the Big Burger Challenge offered to you as soon as you enter the building.
The Big Bang Burger Challenge is effectively a test of your current stat levels. If your character passes the challenge, then you'll be rewarded with a prize as well as a boost to your Guts level, but even if you fail the test you'll still receive a minor boost to your Guts, so aside from time constraints, there are no downsides to attempting the challenge.
If you instead choose not to take the Big Bang Burger Challenge, you will be presented with a variety of items to purchase, all of which can be used to heal your party at any given time during either a Palace Dungeon or Mementos venture.
The following items can be purchased from the counter of Big Bang Burger, and are listed along with their stat boosts:
- Big Bang Burger - 480 Yen, heals 20 HP of all allies
- Saturn Potato - 200 Yen, heals 20 HP of one ally
- Venus Salad - 300 Yen, heals 30 HP of one ally
- Limited Earth Burger - 780 Yen, heals 40 HP of all allies
- Limited Moon Burger - 1,180 Yen, heals 120 HP of one ally
There are actually multiple levels to the Big Bang Burger Challenge, as after you've beaten the initial challenge, you can tackle other, higher ranking burgers such as Comet Burger or the Gravity Burger Challenges. Each challenge requires an increased level of Knowledge and Proficiency in order to complete, but as with the original Big Bang Burger Challenge, you'll still get points towards your Guts rank even if you fail.
