People are facing CoD: Advanced Warfare download issues on Xbox One

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been available to pre-load for days on the Xbox One Games Store, but even with all the available time, some users are reporting a myriad of download issues.

Multiple users on Reddit - among other places - are reporting that their Advanced Warfare pre-load on Xbox One is suffering from multiple issues.

The most common issue is when the game completion percentage gets stuck at a certain percentage while downloading content in the background. Some had luck with restarting the console, but the game always reverts back to a lower percentage each time.

Another common issue is having to re-download the whole 46GB on launch day instead of downloading the small day one patch. The game would appear to be stuck at 100% completion but will continue to download the whole thing again in the background.

After multiple reports over the weekend, Microsoft has finally acknowledged the issues in an update on its status page, and advissed those still suffering from any of these issues to delete the game and restart the download.
