Payday 2 - What is the Safehouse? trailer lets you enjoy your wealth

The latest Payday 2 trailer, entitled 'What is the Safehouse?,' sees creator David Goldfarb detail the benefits of your crew's safehouse and the wealth you can amass inside.

It seems that the safehouse is, essentially, a low budget James Bond gadget room. As well as acting as a place to keep all your stolen cash and ill-gotten goods, it lets you try out the numerous gadgets offered in the game without the pressure of, as Goldfarb puts it, "cops shooting you in the face."

It's a great idea. Payday 2 offers a lot of upgrades and gear, so using them can prove a little confusing at first, as I found out with my hands-on preview of the game a few weeks ago. Practicing before going on a job seems like a pretty good way not to die and humiliate yourself in front of your friends.

Payday 2 comes to PS4, Xbox 360, and PC on August 13.
