Payday 2 Diamond Heist update adds new female character

Payday 2's latest update does more than add one new heist to the tense co-op shooter.

As hinted by the Payday 2 Christmas carol, a new playable character has joined the crew. Clover, a breaking and entering expert, is the first playable female to appear in the series, and comes with her own set of masks and weapons, too. Nice one, Overkill.

The update, which is only available on PC as yet, also adds the long awaited Diamond Heist mission. Your task: steal the world's most famous diamond.

There are also four new masks based on myths, legends and historical figures.

In addition to the update, GameInformer reports Starbreeze has announced a couple of DLC bundles and a Game of the Year pack, which will presumably contain all content release to date.
