Patapon 3 multiplayer demo coming next week

Getting tired of your usual multiplayer diet of gritty first-person shooters, but don't think rhythm games have enough violence and/or eyeballs?

Have you been in touch with a genie lately? Because your incredibly specific wish has been granted.

The PlayStation Blog sends word that a free Patapon 3 multiplayer demo's marching onto PSN on July 6. Among other things, it'll allow you to test out new characters and online multiplayer.

Best of all, it's up for grabs whether you're a PS Plus user or not.

So hooray! Get excited. Clap and stuff. But make sure to do it in perfect 4/4 time so you can get a good multiplier going.
