Patapon 2 Remastered brings 2D rhythm-gaming to PS4 in 4K this week
A blast from the past is coming to PlayStation 4.
Cartoony, two-dimensonal rhythm game Patapon 2 is coming to the PlayStation Store on January 30 for PS4. The game first launched in 2008 for PSP, but is being re-released with snazzy 4K visuals this time around.
Patapon 2 puts you in the role of a deity who commands an army of tribal silhouettes through a side-scrolling world by beating drums.
"Take part in more than 30 missions including hunting, escort, and boss battles, and explore numerous vivid environments along the way," says Sony Interactive Entertainment producer Nick Accordino in a post on the official PlayStation blog.
"Patapon 2 Remastered delivers a strong element of strategy by requiring players to properly customize and build up the Patapon army, arm each soldier with weapons and armor, and position them correctly for battle. For everyone who loved Patapon 1 Remastered, it gets even better with new Patapon evolutions, a host of new minigames and many more surprises in store."
Patapon 2 Remastered will be available to purchase for $14.99 USD from the PlayStation Store.
