The crowdfunding campaign for Allison Road, the indie P.T.-inspired horror game, has been cancelled. The game's developers at Lilith announced this today and said they were approached by Team17 to talk publishing, and the team decided to go with the Worms publisher.

"We have decided to withdraw the Kickstarter campaign to allow us to commit 100% to an opportunity that will give us the chance as a team to create the best game possible," reads an update on the game's Kickstarter.

"We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Team17’s highly successful games label. For us it’s an incredible opportunity to be part of a label that looks after not only such a massive gaming franchise, but also supports developers like Playtonic, Mouldy Toof and many others."

Team17 has recently entered the publishing business with titles like The Escapists and the upcoming Yooka-Laylee.

"Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give," the post goes on.

Lilith said that it's looking at ways that allow those who have already pledged for the campaign to be involved in the game's development.

The campaign was due to end in nine days and had a goal of £250,000
