Overwatch team discusses how it's improving the esports viewing experience - video

Last week, Jeff Kaplan talked about how the Overwatch team is working to improve the esports viewing experience. Today, the team behind the development discusses some of the changes.

In the Overwatch video below takes the viewer is taken behind the scenes to learn more about the technology which will improve the esports viewing experience.

The video goes over some of the various features being implemented in time for the Overwatch World Cup this weekend at BlizzCon 2017.

These include the development of team uniforms and team color palettes which will help viewers distinguish team members; the top down interactive map; the ability to replay kill feeds in case you missed "Diva killing five people"; the third person smart camera and more.
