Ouya release game survey as Kickstarter nears $4.2 million in funding
As the Ouya console Kickstarter nears $4.2 million in pledges, the developers have released a survey with a list of titles to choose from, which may or may not land on the console.
Due to over 45,000 titles which have already been suggested to the developers - in one day no less - the team complied a list of 20 games and posted the list to a survey. They are as follows:
- Skyrim (Bethesda)
- Need for Speed (EA)
- Battlefield (EA)
- Terraria (Re-Logic)
- League of Legends (Riot)
- Super Meat Boy (Team Meat)
- FIFA (EA)
- Final Fantasy (Square)
- Mass Effect (EA)
- Call of Duty (Activision)
- Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft)
- Battletoads (Tradewest)
- Grand Theft Auto (Rockstar)
- Limbo (Playdead)
- Minecraft (Mojang)
- Torchlight (Runic)
- Fez (Polytron)
- Timesplitter (Eidos)
- Bastion (Supergiant)
- Dungeon Defenders (Trendy)
Note that the list is not confirmed titles for the console, just one released by its developers to gauge interest.
Meanwhile PCGamesN has complied a list of titles already available on Android, which could possibly arrive on the console once it hits the market: Grand Theft Auto III,
Max Payne, Final Fantasy III, Minecraft, and Dungeon Defenders.
So far, 400 developer kits have been sold for Ouya via its Kickstarter, and the pledges keep coming as well with 27 more days to go.
