I love this tiny Japanese indie's bizarre Twitter feed

Onion Games is completely bonkers, and I love it so, so much.

Lots of developers and publishers have Twitter accounts and many of them are pretty good.

Some are all business, bringing you news, support and competitions. Others are very community-focused, offering chances to interact and highlighting the fans as much as the product.

And then there's Onion Games, a tiny Japanese indie founded by Chulip and Little King's Story designer Yoshiro Kimura.

Onion Games is promoted by a broken English Twitter feed presented by an in-character onion.

I can't. I just. It's so. Look at this:

I've been aware of this account for a while but today it burst back into my life when a couple of very popular tweets began doing the rounds. Here's the full story as it unfolded:

What.

Yes, that is a question I have.

It is incredibly ecstasy for onions.

PSA: do not mix food and sex except under very controlled and well-researched conditions. You will get yeast infections. Or like, onion juice on your delicate parts. That's no fun for anybody.

Later, Kimura came back from whatever he was doing and caught sight of our friend the onion's musings. He wasn't impressed.

Sometimes people ask me what Twitter is for - and it's clearly for this, you know? For this.

Onion Games seems to be working on a game called Million Onion Hotel. The trailer below isn't hellishly informative but has made me put a "Million Onion Hotel" line in my budgeting software, and underline it three times.

Game of the year.

If you just can't get enough of Onion Games, go admire its beautifully dodgy website. I love it. I love the fonts. I love the cheerfully bad English. I love the art. I love the irreverence. I love the pixel art GIFs.

Onion Games for president. It just does not give an animated s**t.

Update: now with more bonus hilarious tweets because I clearly can't do anything else all afternoon but keep scrolling back and laughing.
