Omega Force releases new Samurai Warriors 3Z screenshots

Omega Force has released screenshots for its updated version of Samurai Warriors 3 on Wii, known as 3Z.

The game is a PS3-exclusive and will feature new playable characters and HD visuals.

New playable characters with their own scenario include Masanori Fukushima, Zen Ayago and Gracia and each will have their own scenario, and there will also be seven generals which didn't have a scenario in the original Wii version getting their own in the PS3 version.

The Murasame Castle mode will not be present in the update, but instead will include new challenge mode where players are placed in randomly generated scenarios.

Samurai Warriors 3Z is due for release in Japan on January 27. When we hear of an international date we'll let you know.
