Nvidia GeForce game-ready drivers for Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed: Origins released
Two of the biggest games coming out this week have a new Nvidia driver specifically made for them.
The latest Nvidia drivers, 388.00 WHQL, are now available for anyone looking to pick up Destiny 2, Assassin's Creed: Origins or both to play this week.
The new game-ready drivers bring performance optimisations for Destiny 2, and Assassin's Creed: Origins. The absence of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is not a coincidence. Developer MachineGames recently announced the PC specs, and confirmed that the game utilises the Vulkan API.
Vulkan typically favours AMD GPUs, so it looks like The New Colossus will be in the red camp. For Destiny 2, which comes out later today, and Assassin's Creed: Origins, which releases on Friday, you'll want to grab these drivers.
In case you missed it, you can catch up on Destiny 2's PC system requirements through here, or follow this link for the minimum and recommended specs for Assassin's Creed: Origins.
