New Nvidia GeForce drivers bring support for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Soulcalibur 6, GRIP
Nvidia has rolled out a new set of drivers for GeForce GTX, and RTX GPU owners.
WHQL drivers version 416.34 are now available to download, just in time for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The new drivers also bring support for Soulcalibur 6, and Rollcage-inspired racer GRIP.
Nvidia didn't list any specific performance upgrades for any of these games, but you can always refer back to Black Ops 4's PC specs for an idea of the sort of hardware you need.
The new drivers also implement Nvidia Highlights, and Ansel support for GRIP. The version available now features a GeForce Experience build that has a bug with Black Ops 4, however.
When pressing Alt+Z to bring up the Nvidia overlay in-game, the game freezes. This happens in windowed, and windowed fullscreen.
If you're running into this issue, Nvidia recommends downloading this beta version of GeForce Experience. The full version will be available next week for all.
As for the new 416.34 drivers, you can grab them from the link. Do keep in mind that you don't have to install GeForce Experience if you'd rather wait for the fixed version next week. The drivers themselves don't appear to have any issues.
