nVidia acquires AGEIA

nVidia has finalised an agreement to acquire AGEIA, the company behind the PhysX development tools used so far in more than 140 current gen console and PC games. Hot stuff.

"The AGEIA team is world class, and is passionate about the same thing we are - creating the most amazing and captivating game experiences," said nVidia president Jen-Hsun Huang.

The financial terms of the agreement haven't been disclosed, but you can reckon on it being "a lot".
