Imagine we're doing a smiley face that looks like this ":-|". According this Shacknews report, there's no Mission mode in the XBLA version of Soul Calibur. Coupled with the fact there's no online play in it either that makes it, essentially, bollocks. The Mission mode was the bulk of the game's single-play content, allowing players to fight under various conditions to unlock cards, costumes, and so on. All this content is now immediately available.
