Nioh 2 has been announced for PS4 - watch the first trailer here
Nioh 2 has been announced, and will bring more difficult combat to PS4 at some point in the future.
The first Nioh did very well for itself, with over two million sales, so a sequel was perhaps inevitable.
The new trailer was short, and didn't feature any gameplay footage, but it gives us a bit to chew on.
The trailer shows a defeated warrior turning things around, pulling horns out of his head and turning into a beast (this seems like a good time to admit that I have not played the original - this might have significance I'm not grasping).
The original Nioh made its way to PC as well, but we're not yet clear which systems Nioh 2 will launch on (beyond PS4, of course). No release date has been set - in fact, no real information exists beyond whatever can be discerned from that brief trailer. But it's definitely happening, and that's good news for fans.
