Nintendo, Sony, Kickstarter and Sega to meet with indies at September's GameHorizon Investment Summit
GameHorizon, the yearly conference geared towards the business of gaming has expanded to with the GameHorizon Investment Summit. It's a chance for indies to openly pitch their games to Nintendo, Sony XDev, Kickstarter and Sega in September.
Taking place September 26 at Earl's Court - as part of this year's Eurogamer Expo - small to medium-sized business are invited to attend sessions by the companies above and pitch their projects openly to investors. The event was formally known as GamesInvest, and will be co-ordinated by Game Republic's managing director Jamie Sefton.
Responding to the news, a Nintendo spokesperson said in a statement, "Nintendo will attend the GameHorizon Investment Summit and we are interested to meet with the independent developers that want to propose original projects we can consider partnering with. We look forward to being surprised by the creativity and talent at the GameHorizon Investment Summit."
European editor of GamesIndustry International and curator of the GameHorizon Conference Matt Martin added, "We're really proud to be expanding the GameHorizon brand with this new Investment Summit, demonstrating our support for video game business development.

The new follows confirmation from GameHorizon organisers GI.biz that the conference will return to Newcastle in 2014.
