Earlier today, the firm released its financials for the first half of 2012, and reported a loss of ¥27.9 billion.
Nintendo also reported 3DS has moved 22 million units since release and 64.45 million titles for the handheld.
Lifetime unit sales of Wii currently sit at 97.2 million, and its successor launches on November 18 in the US and November 30 in the UK.
