Nintendo: eShop and browser hitting at 3DS launch with firmware update
Nintendo has confirmed that its eShop 3DS's digital download store, as well as the system's internet browser will be ready to go at launch.
According to a Nintendo spokesperson, neither the eShop or the web browser will be included with the system's "initial firmware", but both will be integrated via a day-one firmware update.
The eShop sounds like a rather exciting place, and you'll be able to purchase not only DSiWare goodies and Game Boy titles but 3DS-exclusive digital titles as well.
3DS is out March 25 in Europe and March 27 in the US.
Thanks, Eurogamer.
