Nintendo confirms 3DS circle pad peripheral

Nintendo has told Kotaku the rumoured second-circle pad accessory for the 3DS is absolutely real.
"We can confirm that Nintendo plans to release the Circle Pad attachment, but Nintendo's regional subsidiaries will make further announcements about its availability at a later date," the platform holder said.
The peripheral was rumoured last month alongside a hardware revision, and leaked from Japanese magazines yesterday.
