Ninja Gaiden 2 is now backward compatible for Xbox One

Team Ninja's 2008 hack and slash action game Ninja Gaiden 2 is now backward compatible with Xbox One.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is the latest Xbox 360 game to become backward compatible with Xbox One and it's also enhanced for Xbox One X.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is playable now for those who already own it digitally or have the disc.

Users in several markets reported yesterday they were unable to purchase the game digitally upon release. Microsoft was aware of the issue and planned to roll out a fix.

Speaking of enhanced versions, previous backward compatible releases will also see a visual upgrade.

During yesterday's Inside Xbox episode, it was announced Fable 2 and Fable 3 are being enhanced for Xbox One X.

Xbox One X enhanced versions of Splinter Cell titles Blacklist, Conviction and Double Agent are also in the works.
