Nier: Automata sales exceed three million

Nier: Automata has broken another sales record for what many believed to be a niche game.
Nier: Automata has sold over 3 million units worldwide, Square Enix has announced. The number includes units shipped to retailers, as well as digital sales.
Square Enix revealed this impressive milestone on Twitter, through the Japanese official account for Nier.
It was only last September that the game broke 2 million units, so that's another million copies in less than a year.
Nier: Automata was released in March last year.
