Microsoft has announced that Forza developer Turn 10 is partnering up with car manufacturer Lamborghini to bring the company's upcoming Centenario super car to the next game in the series.

This means the new car will be on the game's cover, similar to how the Ford GT adorned last year's Forza 6's. Microsoft did not reveal the name of the new game outright.

Interestingly, the publisher also did not mention Playground Games, the studio usually responsible for the off-year Forza games, namely the Horizon series.

The game will feature the first digital incarnation of the Centenario, ahead of its real world release.

In Forza 6, Turn 10 will host the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series starting today. These offer Rivals time trial events and ranked multiplayer leagues using the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. Players stand to win the 2015 Huracán Super Trofeo in-game, based on their leaderboard placements.

Microsoft promised to reveal more about the next Forza title at E3 this year.
