Next 3DS firmware will patch Mario Kart 7, adds folders

Nintendo has announced on April 25, a system update for Nintendo 3DS will be released allowing user to create folders on the system’s Home Menu. It will also patch Mario Kart 7.

The addition of folders should help with any content organizational issues you are having on the system, plus it will make it easier to access downloadable content as the folders are able to hold 60 icons each.

The update will also come with a new recommendations system via the Nintendo eShop, as well as the ability to update select software.

The first title to receive a patch via the new update will be Mario Kart 7 in mid-May, which will resolve the shortcut exploit known as the Maka Wuhu glitch.

If you don't download the fix, you won't be able to play the game online.

Nintendo had previously said it had no intention of fixing the exploit despite the numerous requests it received on the matter. Looks like it changed its mind.
