New Wii TV channel "the stuff of television producers' nightmares"

According to a senior executive at Japanese broadcasting network, Fuji Television, the recently announced Wii Video Channel would be "the stuff of television producers' nightmares," writes The Times.
The exec says that as Japanese television is currently inundated with "repeats and celebrity formats," Nintendo's new, fresh approach could affect ratings.
The channel 'Wiinoma' is launching in the Spring and promises to deliver cartoons, brain-training quizzes, cooking shows, and educational and lifestyle programmes.
Wii Video Channel is set for release sometime this year.
