New Star Wars: Battlefront 2 single-player gameplay shows stealth, action, and starfighter combat
Following yesterday's explosive Star Wars: Battlefront 2 single-player campaign trailer, more footage has now come out showing several of the game's missions.
The footage is very limited, but it nonetheless gives us a look at part of what the press have played of the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 single-player campaign. We were impressed by the scale and craftsmanship of the campaign in the demo we played.
The footage below shows gameplay from three separate missions. The first has Iden Versio breaking out of a Rebel ship she was being held at. It starts off with a stealth section where you must navigate a heavily guarded ship with Versio's droid in order to free her.
After a few shootouts inside the ship, Versio makes it out, and in process, we get to see how the droid she carries around can be used to hack doors and provide other benefits in combat. Then we're off to Endor following the destruction of the second Death Star in the time of Return of the Jedi.
This section is really short, and the focus quickly switches to some TIE-Fighter action in and around the Death Star debris over the planet. Finally, the last clip has more space combat, this time around the Fondor shipyards. You can see it all below via Star Wars HQ:
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is out November 17 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
